Finding cheap health insurance is not as easy as it used to be. Health care costs have risen dramatically over the past decade and there seems to be no end in sight. As of the time of this writing, there are over 40 million Americans without any form of health care protection. This won’t just cost them in the long run, but everyone in this country. Unpaid medical bills will gradually force doctors and hospitals to raise rates even higher. People going bankrupt because of medical debt not only eliminate their modical obligations, but all of their other debts too, leaving other businesses to hold the bag.
Please don’t get me wrong here. It’s not my intention to slam those struggling individuals that can’t afford health insurance. I’m just venting and pointing some things out for thoise that are unaware of what’s happening here in the USA.
Another disturbing fact that has come up recently is that one full third of the population of Americans is obese. Obese is considered to be 20 pounds above a persons ideal weight. This is twice as high as people in Europe, whose population is only estimated to be 17% obese. With fast food restaurants on every corner here, a fast paced lifestyle and mass marketing being done twenty four hourse per day to our kids, there’s no end in sight. I shudder to think of what the costs and availability of health insurance will be like in the next decade.
If you are in need of cheap health insurance you should always try to take advantage of any coverage offered by your employer. This will almost always be less expensive than anything you will find in the private sector. If your employer doesn’t offer cheap health insurance then you should start shopping around online by getting several free health insurance quotes and comparing offers. With any luck, something will come along that fit into your budget.

One of the hot points in the debate between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton is that about health care. However, the truth remains that 47 million Americans are uninsured and millions more deprived of the much needed healthcare waiting for the government to act. David Jones of Houston, TX had lost his health insurance after suffering from a heart attack 5 years ago and was unable to secure insurance coverage elsewhere. So when he suffered from two more heart attacks 6 months ago he needed a …

Does anyone know a cheap health insurance company?I live in Louisiana and looking for health insurance along with dental insurance. I need help. I am a single mother going to school and working a part-time job…so I'm low on money. Thanks for anyones help!
sorry buddy, I do not believe there is such an animal. I think "cheap health insurance" is about as extinct as dinosaurs. Right now I am paying almost $1000 per month for a family of 5 (actually 4 because my employer supposedly pays mine). The worst part is that the stupid plan isn't worth crap. it just doesn't pay for stuff like I should. I mean d@mnit if I pay 12000/year, I would expect to be able to get something out of that plan, but there are so many loopholes and stuff that I end up paying that and a bunch on top of it.
I could almost buy a car for that much money every year… Insurance companies are the biggest fraud ever passed unto the naive americans. Insurance companies are the DEVIL. We should get rid of all forms of insurance and promote personal responsibility. Yeah, like it used to be you know. You go to the doctor and pay for the services period. If doctors will have to deal directly with real people, they won't be able to charge the insane amounts they charge, because they'll have to look you in the eye.
Only a couple of months ago I hurt myself with an axe. It really wasn't much. They had to do an xray and 6 stitches. and that cost me almost $800. HELLO? 6 freegin stitches and an xray should not cost that much.

Well, each kid is going to cost you about $150 to $200 per month. As canadian citizens, I don't believe they're eligible for any assistance programs (read, welfare).
You COULD ask your employer to add that cost in. Try this site
