Help answer the question about cheap holiday insurance

Is it wrong to want him to come to the scan when he has just started a new job?
It's difficult for my boyfriend to get any more time off now until April. He has come with me to all of the other scans we have had including the anomaly scan we had at 19 weeks (I'm 22 weeks now).

I have a scan just to check on the size and positioning of the babies in the womb at 24 weeks, which is obviously still in March! Well, I really want him to come with me, ut at the same time he has said he wants to try and get his Pass Plus driving test done so that we can get cheaper car insurance which will give us more money spare for our babies and stuff we will need later on.

He needs to do that this month and will need to take a day off (he's already been taking days off from next year in order to come to the other scans we've had) He needs to keep as many of his holidays for next year (April 2009 to end of March 2010) so that he can take a month off when the babies are born as he will need to top up his 2 weeks paternity with these.

We cannot get a car until he's done his test and we need one to get around especially when I start to get bigger!

He only started in October just gone so is it unreasonable for me to want him to come to the scan even though it is only a quick one to check everything is fine?

My mum can come with me anytime I want but I just thought he'd want to come with me to make sure everything was going ok.
