Find Cheap Insurance Rates Online - How to Get the Best Insurance Rates Online

An average individual knows very little about the insurance industry. That is the reason why people accept premiums offered by insurance agents without any debate or discussion. It is blindly presumed that premiums offered are the best deals that insurance companies can offer. That is definitely not the case. Those individuals who refuse to accept the offered deal and insisted on better deals end up with cheaper insurance. How can you find the best insurance rates? Can the World Wide Web help?

The web is the best possible tool that can assist you in this task. You can find cheaper insurance rates online and you can find it very quickly. The trick is to find the right insurance company. We all know that insurance premium vary from company to company. This is because different companies have different risk perceptions.

Some companies may have had a very bad year while others may have earned high profits and may be in a position to offer cheaper insurance deals. If you compare deals offered by such insurance companies, you can quickly identify the best deal.

There are a few ground rules that you must follow before you can find the best rates online. The first is that you should be in a position to compare multiple insurance rates at the same point of time. Secondly, the insurance rates offered by the company should be relevant to your circumstances and situation. That is to say, it must specifically be the cost of insuring YOUR health, automobile, life or home. Generic insurance rates are of no use whatsoever.

The best place to find the right insurance rate is the World Wide Web. A multiple comparison website is the best option. All you need to do is submit the information and wait for the estimates to be flashed on your screen. You will have top rates offered by top notch insurance companies in a span of a few minutes. Once this is done, you can quickly opt for the coverage that offers maximum benefits.

Such websites permit you to complete formalities online and even finalize the insurance deal over the web itself.

Don't just get quote from one website, you should check 2-3 online comparison sites and at least one individual company.
I know it's a lot of work, but it's your money, you should do the homework before you settle with one. the rates are all different depend on different person's situation. You can find out more at http://carsinsurancetips.com/
    Hope it helps, good luck!

  2. The larger the group the cheaper the rates because they can spread the risk. If you have a professional Association they might offer group plans. You need at least 10 employees to participate in most places otherwise. The rate will be a little high but it benefits employees that might not be able to get insurance otherwise. IE preexisting conditions (cancer, kidney disease, etc). Good luck.

  3. allstate.com has amazing coverage and is user-friendly

geico.com – is a good bet for reasonable quotes

Progressive.com – they not only give you their quote, but they compare themselves to other people, wether they beat their price or not

Esurance.com – cuts out the middleman, affordable insurance for all

I prefer Geico myself, but its because I drive a motorcycle.

  4. Would you ask for brain surgery on-line?? Why would you want to buy auto insurance on-line??

There is no ONE insurance company that is right for everyone – everyone is rated individually – and all companies have different "likes and dis-likes", different credit tiers, different business models, and many other factors that can vary your rate – and a QUOTE is ONLY a quote until the policy is issued.

Typically, insurance rates will vary from State to State and can even vary by ZIPCODE! It also will depend on the type of car/truck, coverages, limits of liability, and driving record. Some companies run credit scores and MOST run a motor vehicle report and CLUE (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) report to see about undisclosed accident involvement.

The best thing to do is call a LOCAL independent agent or broker. Don't go across town, or to some other city – look for someone CLOSE. Just look in the phone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) logos and you will find a professional licensed agent that will be able to help you solve your insurance problems, and give you rate comparisons of several different companies.

An independent insurance agent will normally have a dozen different companies and if he cannot help you, he should be networked with other local agents that can.

In my agency, we have companies that do NOT run a credit score and welcome drivers with "less than perfect" driving records and specialize in youthful operators!

Most of the replies on this site say "go to this on-line carrier or that on-line carrier or that 1-800 number" but I'm sure that when you do, you will find some impersonal computer user with a script to work from and you won't be able to talk with the same person every time you have a problem!

Good luck, drive RESPONSIBLY and I hope this helps!

  5. Go to Getusedparts.com….be prepared for ALOT of hits on this and make sure you have all of the vehicle info that they ask for.
    Good Luck!

  6. craigslist or auto trader.you'll find cars cheaper here than you will ever looking at online auctions.

  7. Going through an agent will cost you more as the agent costs money.
You can save tons by buying from a site, but shopping around costs nothing so why not do both?
See this http://gsx1.com/InsuranceComparison.html take the quote, they'll come back with prices from different insurers in your area. It's very quick and free of charge.

  8. Sure you need an address, but most don't care if you're working out of your house or not.

You sound like you need to write a business plan (try http://www.score.org as starting resources). There are other companies that already do this (not the least of which is Progressive that sells a different contracts online than through the brokerage system), so the section about competition and marketing will be critical. You should also either be realistic about the cost of the site creation, data management, CRM, and so on, or you need to have the skills to program and maintain the whole thing yourself.

If there are package deals where you can just subscribe to a quoting system and pick a template to wrap around it with your company name, this is a clear indication that the bones of the business are not unique. If that's the case, can you do your own SEO, why would a shopper choose you instead of someone else? what's your unique selling proposition? how are you allocating your advertising budget?

I'm not saying it can't be done, in fact you could be raking money in before too long, but a detailed and researched business plan is your opportunity to work out the wrinkles. Failing miserably because you couldn't track the conversion ratio of each marketing campaign would suck.

  9. Of course it's possible that the rates could be lower. Things to watch: the rating of the insurance carrier, are the limits they are offering the same as what you have?, are they Excluding any coverages you had before. There is always a better deal out there but you must pay close attention to what you are buying
